Cairngorms – Local Rural Parliament Event
August 26, 2014 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
Invitation to attend the Cairngorms Local Scottish Rural Parliament!
Would you like to influence what needs to happen at a national level to support communities in the Cairngorms National Park? Would you like to help develop a collective vision for rural Scotland?
If so, then come along to the Scottish Rural Parliament – Cairngorms Regional Event and share your views and experiences to help shape the future of our rural areas.
Everyone is invited to attend the event which takes place at the Lecht Ski Centre on Tuesday 26th August at 5pm. The aim of the session is to raise awareness of the full – and first ever – Scottish Rural Parliament meeting which will take place in November and feed into the discussions and debates that will take place there.
The Cairngorms event next month has been organised by the Association of Cairngorms Communities and the Cairngorms National Park Authority. It will be an opportunity to discuss the issues of importance to our rural communities, gaining a real insight into what challenges rural areas are facing and what the solutions might be.
There will be presentations, workshops, discussion sessions and the event is open to anyone living or working in the Cairngorms National Park.
