Scottish Rural Action has been invited to sit on the Partnership Group for the National Transport Strategy review. This will be a long process culminating in the publication of a second National Transport Strategy for Scotland in 2019.
The Partnership Group is formed of key stakeholders and meets regularly during the course of the strategy development to provide specialist insight, comment and challenge throughout. It will be our role to ensure that the transport needs of rural Scotland are identified and met by the new strategy.
A key part of our engagement in the strategy will be the formation of a working group which we anticipate will meet in an online forum, and which will shape the responses and position of Scottish Rural Action throughout the process.
If you are interested in being part of the working group, then please contact Emma via email in the first instance email@example.com for more information.
